Being a new student at a university can be stressful and irritating. Especially with Michigan State University’s campus being so large it can be very difficult and traumatic for students to become familiarized with campus. Michigan State University gives students a plethora of dining options. Surprisingly enough, more that just freshmen and transfer students are unaware how many options the campus has to offer. Sarah Rose, a junior attending MSU said, “There are so many cafeterias on campus here at MSU, pretty much any building you go into there is at least a place where you can buy some type of food. However, it has taken me a couple years to know exactly where to find the cafeterias are located closest to me.” According to Assitant manager Michelle Moench, the cafeterias on campus offer an abundance of opportunities on campus.
Moench said, ”There are many opportunities for students to get involved with the dining on campus, we are always hiring and the students can decide what position they would be interested in working and that is always able to change. We want our workers happy.” Eric Weinberg a junior at MSU studying Food Industry Management said he decided to get a job at a campus cafeteria in hopes of getting into the business school for Accounting.
